The 2016 48 Heures Automobiles de Troyes 2016

The programme for the 2016 48 Heures Automobiles de Troyes is very similar to that of the 2014 event, apart from the withdrawal of the concours d’élégance at the Cube.

The meeting on Thursday evening with the ascent of the Montgueux vineyards is being continued as a prologue to the event.

The following day, crews from all over Europe converged on the various starting points for three rallies across Aube. After an afternoon on the road, the first glasses of champagne were offered at the end of the afternoon at the Mc Arthur Glen factory outlet centre, a partner of the event.

On Saturday morning, the participants in the 48h Automobiles de Troyes all gather for a single departure, which takes them to three different rallies. The cars are driven in the morning and early afternoon, before meeting up on the grass of the Boulevard Jules Guesde where the Total HTX podium van is waiting and where the cars are given a good bath by the crowds.

On Sunday, after the traditional rally starting from La Chapelle Saint Luc town hall, the participants gather in the car parks along the Boulevard Gambetta. Spectators can see the cars when they’re not driving on a beautiful circuit that also extends to the rue du Général de Gaulle. Finally, in front of the media library, there are some superb cars, including a number of museum pieces specially brought in by l’Aventure Peugeot.

In the afternoon, some of the cars taking part in the 48 Heures Automobiles de Troyes were paraded in front of a second stand truck, where they were described in detail by the speakers.
