The 1986 48 Heures Automobiles de Troyes

The first edition of the 48 Heures dates back to 1986. The 48 Heures d’Automobiles Anciennes de Troyes took place on 6 and 7 September 1986. The Kiwanis and the Rétro Club Automobile de Champagne were already the organisers! The basis was laid with the organisation of a concours d’élégance and the evolution of the cars around the Boulevard Jules Guesde in Troyes.

Of course, this first edition brought together classic cars from the region, from further afield in France and also from foreign delegations. The city of Troyes is taking advantage of its twinning arrangements to attract competitors from all over Europe and bring together some extraordinary cars.
